How to Fix the Decision of choosing the Wrong Furniture Company

ENHANCING YOUR INVESTMENT

We are conscious, that when called in to re-work a competitors package that in most cases the client has only budgeted for the original price. The thought of spending additional dollars after having already been through the financials of purchasing a rental property, plus allowing for full furnishings in order to make it rental ready can be extremely stressful.

Unfortunately, fixing a problem is never as exciting as starting from scratch because your valuable time, energy and resources have already been spent – “literally” … but don’t be discouraged. We are pros at shopping smart and turning the home over quickly, so that you can finally start to see a return … “The Design Details do Matter!”

PURPOSEFUL DESIGN IS KEY

With Vacation Home Interiors, Purposeful Design is key. When booking a “home away from home” guests are looking for something that is comfortable, functional with memorable aesthetics. Simply put, a wonderful space that gets them excited about their upcoming vacation!

Your furniture package should be both user friendly and unique. When interior design makes sense it is timeless. Color and style preference is personal “Sure”, but when it is obvious to the consumer that the space was created with thought and purpose, it is respected. (Think of the lobby of your favorite hotel, that you tend to return to time and time again).

OUR APPROACH

You will notice that in the “Before and After” shots that are showcased in this example, the furniture itself doesn’t change. It’s the addition of inviting and intentional soft furnishings, artwork and accessories that transform the original room layouts. Accent paint adds depth to the walls, and replacing shop bought (unlined) drapes with the clean lines of a pelmet board makes open living areas appear both lighter and larger and creates a maintenance free design feature.

OVERVIEW

When describing our service to potential clients, we often say “Anybody can get furniture delivered, the challenge is in the Design”. Through the years some of our projects come from being approached by panicked new homeowners that purchased a Furniture Package from a different service provider but are unhappy with how their villa looks on a bookings website and how that inevitably relates to income return. The inventory is there, bedroom configurations make sense, but they aren’t fairing well against other homes in the community. In hindsight, these new clients all too soon realize that the money they thought they had saved by opting for a less expensive furniture pack, could have been used towards a design package that would appeal to a wider audience … generating greater revenue. When this happens we can work to enhance the existing and create a more welcoming and interesting space … Think carefully when choosing your Interior Designer.
